Standard meltblown oil-only mats absorb hydrocarbon-based fluids and repel water. These types of pads are most commonly used to skim oil off of water during an oil spill emergency, but they are also used for everyday maintanance applications.

Spun bond polypropylene is an excepthionally strong, ultra light non-woven which is durable and has a high tensile strength. Virtually lint-free and with a slick texture, these composites are great for wiping applications, including removing grease from hands.
Fine fiber polypropylene is a soft, non-linting super absorbent fiber that will absorb quickly, remove sheen from plant floors, and also provide a tacky surface that will give it a gripping characteristics.
Pads are available in spun bond or fine fiber composites, or as a combination of both, which are ideal for in plant use - put the fine fiber side face down to grip the floor, and walk on the spun bond side. A perforation helps reduce waste.

Oil-only (white) socks contain and soak up petroleum-based fluids fast while repelling water. By selectively absorbing petroleum-based liquids and not water, these socks take in more oil and can be left on the job longer. They also float for cleanup of waterborne hydrocarbons.
Universal (grey) socks absorb oils, coolants, solvents, and water. Use them wherever you have a variety of spills and only want to stock one sock to cover everything.
Hazmat (yellow) socks contain and soak up acids, bases and unknown fluids fast. These polypropylene-filled socks quickly absorb nearly any type of castic, hazardous or unknown liquids - including acids, bases, solvents and chemicals.

Sorbent booms - strong mesh outer sleeve encases a poly sock skin filled with highly-sorbent polypropylene. Filler won't shed and booms won't sink. even when saturated with oil. Polypropylene filler is left in its natural hydrophobic state - repels water (and floats) while only absorbing oils and other hydrocarbons. A nylon rope and sturdy hardware ensure long-lasting durabily and easy retrieval. Durable, easy-to-use connectors provide a simple and efficient way to link Sock/Net Booms together and create a containment system big enough to handle almost any size spill on water. Clip together with carbon steel connector hardware.
Bilge Booms - ideal for bilges, sumps, reservoirs, and other areas. Will float on water and soak up oils and other hydrocarbons. Interior consists of a polypropylene filler packed in a durable sleeve.
